Join RunVermont for the 23rd Annual First Run 5k and 1/2-mile and 1-mile Kids' Fun Runs on January 1, 2011 in downtown Burlington,Vermont. Everyone is welcome at this fun and festive New Year's Day event: bring the kids, the strollers, even Fido is welcome (on a leash, of course!). Wear a costume to be eligible for one of many great awards. Delicious post-race food tops off the event.
Registration is available on-line now through December 26 with a special "2-for" rate of $20 for two 5k entries, or $15 per single 5k entry. After December 26, the price goes up to $20 per person. The kids' fun runs are $5 per kiddo, with a per-family max of $10. T-shirts are available for an additional fee, while supplies last. Be sure to order yours when you register so you don't miss out on this popular collector's item.
