The 27th Annual People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon Announces HOKA ONE ONE as the “Official Shoe” for Race Weekend - May 22 through 24, 2015
Burlington, Vermont (January 29, 2015) HOKA ONE ONE to be the “Official Shoe” of the People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon. RunVermont, home of the People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon is pleased to announce the second year of a partnership with HOKA ONE ONE performance running shoes. HOKA ONE ONE has engineered a unique performance midsole geometry that features a higher volume, softer density, and greater rebounding foam than standard running shoes. “We’ve been hearing a growing buzz about these shoes over the last several months with many comments such as ‘my feet don’t hurt anymore.’ That’s a pretty transformative experience for a lot of runners… just what we like to provide with our race so it makes for a great partnership”, commented Peter Delaney, Executive Director of RunVermont. RunVermont will be giving away HOKA ONE ONE running shoes through their social media channels. A new promotion will be launched each month in February, March and April. All participants in the People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon will have the opportunity to step into a pair of HOKA ONE ONES at the event’s Sport and Fitness Expo, scheduled for May 22 and 23 at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington. HOKA ONE ONE will have representatives at both the Expo and at the event’s Post-race Festival on May 24. To learn more about HOKA ONE ONE go to Hokaoneone.com.
