Leonardo’s Pizza has been in the same location since they opened their doors in 1990.
On Race day they have a continuous stream of fresh pizzas being delivered to the Runners’ Food Tent at The People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon by a team of drivers.
On Race day they will use somewhere between a combined total of a half to a full ton of dough, cheese and sauce to feed the runners on race day.
They make their dough from scratch every day using King Arthur Flour.
Every morning they make their own fresh pizza sauce in the store.
Every morning they take blocks of cheese to make their cheese blend we use on every pizza.
